I can say with confidence that they don't make them like Sir Stanislaus Anthony James Anthony anymore. Such passion for our island and the people exudes our motto of the land, the people and the light.

St Lucia was built by great men like Sir John Compton, Sir Stansilaus James, Sir Allan Louisy and a few others who dedicated their whole lives to our country and its betterment and most importantly THE PEOPLE.

In that same breath it is taking a few lesser chosen individuals four years or less in some cases to contribute absolutely nothing to society and in some cases actually lead us into regression.

I hope the polititicans who heard all the great things this 'Gentle Giant' accomplished selflessy bowed their heads in shame and disgust at the state of the country today all by their hands who like bees to honey only seem to work when l'argent is involved.

St Lucia needs a few good men AND women to lead our beautiful people and stop thinking about their selfish needs.

It's time to put the ridiculous Party Politics aside and build this country from the ground up. We need to be willing to work and persevere through these difficult times, that is the only way it will get better. We know it can be done these great men have showed us the way. We as a people should have no excuses for our lack of progress when ONE man did so much. We only have ourselves to blame.
