So mother’s hold on to your children

Unfortunately, we have a "new" society of children having children, who have no preparations of what family life is about. They do not even know where, or who to go to for guidance. That is, if they have any idea of what "guidance" is.

At the same time, enforcement of laws are non existent, and our education system sucks - big time!!

There are teachers who have of how to interact intelligently with their wards. I have seen it first hand on many occasions, where teachers show no form of defense against manipulative students - they just stand there with a stupified look on their face, the student realises he/she has the upper hand, and goes into manipulation mode. And yes, I do step in and take the upper hand over the manipulative "child" - to redeemable effect!!

What has the education system come to? Where is the family guidance" Who is there to enforce laws?

Parenting here on the island is in the main appalling. Children as young as months old are given alcohol. Recently a friend saw a child of less than three years old be given a'spliff'. I see very young children soliciting big men, no adult in sight other than the men, It saddens me that parents don't see the value of children
