"The Department always takes and will continue to take decisive action against indiscipline and illegality.." Who wrote this? Is this the same Herman St. Helene who sat quietly and connivingly while the indisciplined government of St. Lucia was illegally throwing into the sea the behind Customs Department, the tax evasion cases against Ministers Richard Frederick and Keith Mondesir? Yes sir, you condoned, directly and/or indirectly, the failure of the Customs Department to continue to pursue the case against these robbers of the Consolidated Fund, and you also will face your day in Court. Minister Richard was under investigation (and still is) by the FBI, hand-in-hand with Sir John Compton and your Customs Department, assisted by the solid, honest, no-nonsense, respected, decent, Customs Mr. Comptroller Terrence Leonard, and several of you in the Department were playing political games. I understand your need to represent your office, but PLEASE do not refer to your intolerance for "indiscipline" and "illegality." That respect was LOST when you guys accepted the illegality that Richard and Mondezod engaged in, and please prepare yourselves because these chapters are not yet closed!!!! DONNA BAPTISTE.
