Our new SLP government must immediately let us know what's happening with (1) the Hewanorra Redevelopment Project; (2)the Soufriere Geothermal-Electricity Project; (3) the 4 major upscale hotel projects that are half-built, still on the books, and promised; (4)the Castries-Vieux Fort Tunnel-Highway; and (5) the planned St Lucia Universities (UWI and others) because these 5 projects alone would automatically generate between 4 and 5 thousand new jobs.

One people? Yeah right! That bastard has a whole army of social misfits selling drugs to young people. Four areas in Castries are working the drug trade. The young men are dying on almost a weekly basis.

Yeah! One people,

One set obviously making a living by killing one another and destroying the lives of the rest of the population.

Are you on drugs or something?

You reason that there is a real basis for calling the above reality, one people? Your brains must becoming like swiss cheese already. Is this why you are so busy trying to peddle this, a whole truckload of pigswill in the press?

Get a hold of yourself young man. The UWP drug party is no longer in power young fellow. Didn't they tell you? The crap is out!

What about solar energy instead of geothermal energy? Looks like there would be a quicker return on the investment in that technology. Any comments?

St Lucia needs to develop All its renewable energies - we have all of them in abundance, but in particular, cheap (much cheaper than oil nowadays) geothermal energy could quickly change St Lucia into an industrialized and prosperous island: providing thousands of manufactoring jobs for our unemployed young people, as well as encouraging the development of numerous local entrepreneurial projects.
Furthermore, by government's persistent encouragement of solar panels on roofs (homes and businesses) throughtout the island, St Lucia could quickly become entirely energy independent - let's use our Wind, Solar, and Geothermal POWER!
This is not a pipe dream. All this can be achieved by proper planning and the sensible use of innovative financial strategies. These days, many International foundations would also help fund any viable clean energy projects.
