Earl well said. The thing is St. Lucians only came to formulate the 'deficient view' of the post of deputy speaker during the uwp administration when none of the hungry, greedy, shagwen pouvoir ministers from the uwp refused to give up their ministrial posts to function as deputer speaker.

At least some people see the bright side of being deputy speaker of the house, unlike others who believe there is something so wrong with not being a minister. Right now Dr. Long can make the Bucks while keeping check on his constituency more than anyone else and he should try his best to represent his people. Some St. Lucians believe that if you are not a minister in cabinet then you ain't nothing. NOT SO I SAY!!!

To Dr Long I say. Work your constituency and make it a better place for your people. Ferggie did not have a Ministry for years. He work in his law office and keep his people happy.
