Peter,
This article has at least four detectable themes, non of which have been fully developed. For this reason the article have failed miserably in clarifying its purpose. I suggest you sit down with Guy Ellis and re-write!
Thanks.

Josie's comments have the same political inclination as the rest. However, I believe all the commentators are patriots, including you Josie.

Mr. Josie,
Based on your training in Agriculture, I expected a more in-depth analysis of the black sigatoka situation , and a pointed approach to a solution to the problem in your article.
As for your anticipation of the arrival of the new John Compton; I hope the resurrected John Compton is more charitable to you than the last one, who chastised you for taking an inordinate amount of time in completing your degree.
Again, based on your approach to the black sigatoka situation; John Compton's comments may have been prophetic!

I wonder if Mr. Josie spoke with such conviction when he represented the government and indirectly farmers on the Board of Directors of WIBDECO, where he could have influenced decision that would have improved on the financial standing of farmers making them better able to combat the disease?
