Chastanet is a hero to Soufriere. It is a shame for the town that he wasn't elected.
Politicians yellow or red, do not need this special praise,as if money comes out of their pockets. Soufriere got what it deserved. Thanks to hurricane Thomas and foreign donations. It's a shame that Chastanet or not allowed land to be leased for a lifetime and almost completely soldout had it not been for preservationist organizations' rebellions.

I read the article and I think the writer is being SARCASTIC with all these praises.
Such bull-shit need to get of the nations news paper.

O.k, so it's not just me who thought the writer was being sarcastic.
Whether this article is a little brow nosing by a supporter of Mr. Chasnet is irrelevant. We must move away from thanking politicians for carrying out their duty, he fixed a bridge not invent penicillin.
Furthermore most people from Souferrie saw through Chasnet and rejected him at the polls choosing a true son of the soil to represent them - and what an excellent choice was made in choosing Dalston
oh boy some ppl are still upset that slp did not do anything for soufriere when they were in office and it took allen to do all that. plz get a life dalson aint no man next to allen, soufriere are just plain stupid to believe dalson is better than allen. we have to give politcians creit for projects being done in the communities, if they don't ask for it it wo't happen so for u to say that is such gabbage. so on that note all prasies to mr chastanet, ood job siru are not a loser the people are for not believing in you.
Well i dont Blame the people of soufriere for their choice in the elections as a matter a fact i think most of the young intelligent voters voter Chas but then again soufriere is infested with idiots who never went to school and dont know their heads from their feet. That generation will soon be extinct and the young budding voters will be in control of the future of soufriere. I cant believe some persons can say that there is sarcasm in this exert. SMH u guys must have failed your literature subjects at school. Nevertheless Chas got the ball rolling in souf and i hope Teenage mutant Ninja Turtle continues the good work.
