LIAT Outsourcing

Ooups! What was described here was vertical integration and NOT outsourcing per se. The service provision relationship was already there and well established.

To deepen that relationship when the company links were already established with majority shareholding in that 'outside' entity, is not exactly outsourcing.

Outsourcing is the farming out of a business activity to a firm outside of the company, that activity having been done previously inhouse. Some people are confusing themselves and others.

there is nothing wrong in these global recession times which most countries have never experienced b4.. to outsource employees even if i were an employee of LIAT... its true that alot of the Human Resource managers get HUGE salaries.. BUT are we aware of several medium /small size Airline companies which went broke and shut down in the last 4 yrs.. LIAT cannot exist in a vacuum.. NOW WE HEARING THAT AMERICAN EAGLE WILL ALSO SHUT DOWN OPERATIONS IN THE REGION.. COME MARCH 2013..

SO now what we gonna do with VIGIE AIRPORT with less aircrafts using this airport ??? thats the real issue !!!.. we ought to believe that rivals such as -- LIAT,Redjet,CBean Airlines, & ESP JETBLUE might fill american eagle absence.. mark my words.. Anyway the thing is most likely JetBlue will win.. already JetBlue recently set up a major Hub IN Puerto Rico..JetBlue will only land at Hewannorra Airport not VIGIE.. FOOD4THOUGHT

Kenny doh waste nough millions already? Kenny's foolishness tab now running over the $100 million mark already.

Dat LIAT man should know off the BS, and quit %%%%ing around! It is time for LIAT to get its act together!

i am blue VEX if st lucia and dominica plans to put money into liat ...that will be a political error if DR. KENNY ANTHONY still goes ahead with liat and opting out of helping redjet..which has a more prosperous future.. redjet business modul has alot of cut costing measures whereas liat has bloated fat salaries paying those useless managers in Antigua..

Well i am certain the country is divided in awarding LIAT any money to keep it in the skies.. I listened to the former manager of HELENAIR.. who is supporting liat & rejecting redjet but his achaic airline went bust too because it copies liat way of doing business .. [eyes wide opened right]
