WELL WRITTEN i must say... although i doubt it very much that trinidad who several occasions tried to aquire liat failed in the past to, intends to aquire LIAT at this time. Esp in this global financial recession we all are facing.. I think CAL.. believes it can handle the sky alone as LIAT has done in the past.. & CAL. believes it can expand its aircraft fleet to service a wider region better than LIAT which might be true ESP with the Gov of Trinidad supporting them..OIL RICH $$ Trinidad...

I prefer like the former tourism Minister Allen Chastenant to see the back of LIAT.. thats the best outcome for regional travel and improvements in that sector. LIAT will never improve unless there is a total revamping of its business & air route policies..I believe barbados did say they intend to have redjet flying in a couple months i hope that news is right and perhaps barbados & guyana should partner in supporting Redjet when it resumes flying again.. OH every region globally have LOW COST CARRIERS in operations .. be it in Asia or Europe..So Redjet fits neatly in our Region.. Caricom or no Caricom

Oh, by the way, is it CARICOM or CARIGO . . . I don't get it. Why are we (Caribbean islands) fighting each other . . . it is my airline or your airline . . . We need only one bloody airline. Period.

Not a Jamaica or Barbados or Trinidad airline. We need a Caribbean airline, owned and operated by the islands for island people.
