VAT blues from some quarters

The lack of comments says it all. The writer is so right on, I believe that the people who are refusing to pay taxes are the people who have. If there was a system that forced people to register for tax that would level the playing field. I feel very angry with vendors who make lots of money but refuse to contribute to society through taxation. When a license is granted the tax office should be informed then the vendors should be liable, it should be a fair tax so that they are not destituted by the system. Everyone uses the amenities they expect to be provided by goverment e.g. roads, garbage collection, sit on verges, transport etc. It is a selfish greedy society who don't see that we are all part of it, therefore we must pay.
