To date, this VAT implementation is turning out to be the WORST example of PUBLIC POLICY implementation anywhere in the English-speaking Caribbean! Ever!
The PM's managerial skills are non-existent -- at worst, absent -- at best.
He clearly is going through the motions as any other public servant.
But what should we have expected when it matters, when one remembers that with a teaching background, managing a classroom is very, very far removed from managing any type of enterprise.
The PM has shown ABSOLUTELY NO HANDS-ON approach to the shambles he is presiding over!
Some in the VAT implementation office are sounding like absolutely and veritably mad people.
