AS A YOUNG ST LUCIAN BOY I REMEMBER MY MOTHER & HER FRIENDS CELEBRATING FETE LA MARGUERITE WAY BACK IN THE LATE 1940/1950, SHE ALSO HAD THE FLOWER PLANTS GROWING IN TIN CANS, THERE WAS NO FLOWER POTS AROUND IN THOSE DAYS.I AM GLAD TO SEE THE YOUNG SCHOOL KIDS ARE TAKING PART IN BOTH FETE LA MARGUERITE & FETE LA ROSE.
