Although i am not a fan of the LPM.. i agree that too often the case..ppl who head diplomatic offices in our island, are side liners who wants their cut of the cake after the dust settles after a general election..
Although i dont have any proof about this diplomat in MIAMI,FLORIDA.. i believe whole heartedly that it is true... i dont have any reservation of passing JUDGEMENT on POLITICIANS/DIPLOMATS/CEO's.. i dont care which gov is in power.. i want to see the end of these NEPOTISMS..
I agree wholeheartedly .For once LPM has said something I agree with. It does not matter what side of the political divide you stand on. If true, this things must be corrected.
Trust me I live in the miami area and to be honest there is a very disturbing email circulating in all the surrounding cities I have a copy about that Hippolite and it is not nice at all.
The consulate is of no use they should close it down that's a waste of money he is getting a double salary one from AT&T a full pension and the other for doing nothing only to drive Jn Baptiste and the other big rats around when they are in Miami he gets free housing payment car etc and I can go on and on and on.Let the investigation begin.

Wait a minute. You mean all this is happening under the nose of our government and not has been done about it? What did we elect our government for? I dont think it was to not save the country money.
WHile they're at it, do something about those at the consulate in NY also. I've never seen such a bunch of useless people! Well, other than our politicians from both parties.
You know I am tired of all this freebees. Dr. Anthony cannot allow this to continue. Election in and election out we hear about change but more of the same.
I do not know Kent Hippolyte, I don't know who appointed him, I don't know when he was appointed, I don't know if his appointment (if he was) continues at this time.
Too many variables remain unknown . . . I need to do my own investigations. I do not allow people to think for me or even make my mind up for me. This is Prudent's take on the man, now I must on my own have my own take.

It is no secret that for years most of the people working at our consuluates are seat warmers. Most of what the LPM have had to say is a fact. Tehre is a lot of slackness going on at these sites. I am not one that is going to pretend it is not true.
This LPM fella has no credibility left. I was made to understand from a very reliable source, that he decided to hide the evidence that the puppet PM King, was obligated to pass all emails sent to King regarding the administration to RF, then, the real PM.
What somebody has said above there regarding cutting a deal with King seems to tie in with this.
He made no revealing and devastating information on Kings public puppet show, because that fella wanted something from King. Can the situation be any clearer than that?
Now, his mouth is wide open, bringing up something that has been in existence for several years now, as something new! What a shameful act.
I have it from a very reliable source that this year there was no LPM Labour Day bar-B-Q in New York. Is it that 'old Fred' refused to cooperate after the questionable financial deal with King?
It is high time that the government address that situation. This is an important matter which can't be swipe under the rug. Left uncheck it can cost St Lucia a lot of $$.
Who makes the final decision as to who is hired? Is it Mr. Kenny or Mr. Alva?

In reality, it matters very little who makes those decisions.
All that is glaringly embarrassing here is that the quality and level oversight of government expenditure is embarrassingly scandalous for a poor nation like ours.
Some people are playing games with the public and our public finances.
PMs in neither party have ever displayed the sense, nor the capacity to marshall the forces, insights, will and character to initiate the kinds of corrective actions necessary to arrest the HUGE amounts of wastage some stemming from MALFEASANCE.
We have never had any serious debates on the issue.
We lack the sophistication in our MPs to craft pieces of legislation that would extend oversight on government expenditure. The intellectual cretins and country-bookies we send to parliament can only ad neasum repeat 'Mr. Speaker' , 'Mr. Speaker', 'Mr. Speaker' as their MAJOR contributions to debates.
Like other PMs before him, and as a reflection of the national culture, this PM is weak at the knees and not knowledgeable enough to stop malfeasance and the continuing squandering of our public finances.
Some people just want the title of PM, Leader of the Opposition, etc, but have neither the intellectual tools, intestinal fortitude nor a moral compass to guide their own character to the necessary depth and scope of decision making.
We are all poorer for this, until real and meaningful change emerge to counter and suppress our nationally disabling and dysfunctional characteristic that -- since independence -- has been so much part and parcel of our government establishment and the character of our political retards (representatives) --- borbolism.
thats why i have never voted and dont intend to .. so to the suckers who vote every 5 yrs...u got what was coming to you..i am a fan of SLP they seem to be the lesser of 2 evils...but with the passing of time and observation..we now know that KENNY ANTHONY DONT HAVE THE FORTITUDE TO STOP WASTEFUL SPENDING ..AND HE LACKS A VISION TO TAKE ST LUCIA FURTHER.. I HAVE NEVER HEARD HE OR KING EVERY SAY AN INNOVATIVE PROJECT THAT CAN REALLY PUT ST LUCIA ON THE MAP...we dont even have a dolphin park or theme park not that gov are suppose to provide it..but i mean tourism isnt just for hoteliers... the socalled heritage sites are meager rep of the island projection to think more innovative

You make a hella a lot of sense. Culturally, our creativity appears to based on and overwhelmingly concentrated on activities below the wasteline!
There is no innovation, nor any innovative thinking displayed from colonial times even up to today as we speak. It is not part of our culture!
Some of our so-called leaders believe that culture is just
language, music and dance.
To those people, only the visual aspects of our culture matter.
Our half-educated, mis-educated, ill-educated, mal-educated, and un-educated are totally unaware of role of cultural assumptions that actually guide our thinking and behaviour.
These assumptions behave like the software in our computers, cell phones, Ipads and so on. They control, direct and process all the information we get outside of ourselves.
We have a lot to learn.
