Monroe College Bids 116 Grads Farewell

It is high time that Monroe introduces at least a minor in RISK MANAGEMENT, if it is really serious about the quality of the products (students emerging) from the college in St. Lucia.

This is especially so, if the students are going to compare favourably with those from elsewhere in terms of gaining a competitive edge.

Let's get serious for once!

Without Risk Management as part of the curriculum's offerings, we are MOST definitely NOT getting value for money!

Monroe college has been criticized left, right and centre but do the critics ever question themselves about the persons teaching at Monroe? The professors at Monroe college are some of the cream of the crop from UWI, SALCC lecturers, Seasoned professors from the highly ranked universities in the United States, Canada and England. Given that fact, shouldn't the critics bite their tongues instead since this is a clear case of vindictive competition by the critics. The criticisms leveled at Monroe is a serious indictment on UWI and the quality of education provided there given that most of the professors are UWI graduates.

This is really sad for UWI since they are now exposed.

So many monroe students can't make it at UWI. They drop out, come back home and easily become an Honours Student at monroe. monroe is giving away grades like hot bread and at the end of the day their students do not have the skills it takes to get a job.

I agree. And do you know there are some who are getting people to write assignments for them and handing them in.
