Couldn't have been more proud to be West Indian and St.Lucian....congratulations to Darren Sammy and his team. Of course I'm eagerly awaiting better days ahead:)
Just great!! congratulations to Darren and the Team.Like the way that he constanly communicates with team members.... thats motivation! Now a message to the powers that be: Turn sports into a regional Money making machine that can pull talented youngsters out of poverty!!
There are alot of haters out there who, believe it or not, would have liked to see the West Indies fail just because the captain and the president of WICB are St.Lucians. Big islands with small minds. Congratulations to the Windies.
No, better days are here...didn't you read the article in its enterety - it's a first for the West Indies to won the "ICC's World T20 2012", LEAD BY A ST LUCIAN.
What more do you want (cricket wise) poulet et riz!!
Recognize ALL St Lucian achievers more!! If we don't none of the other islands will, especially the so-called 'big islands' LOL. It appears that the Barbados paper "Caribbean360" purposely DID NOT mention that Darren Sammy is a St Lucian, although it mentioned the names of Jamaica's Marlon Samuels and Trinidad's Sunil Narine in the same article. Check it for yourself: http://www.caribbean360.com/index.php/news/621624.html#axzz291KsrWVQ We must HOLD HIGH all our true St Lucian heroes, because, in the long run, their actions and reputations will help our nation's ultimate rise more than all the foreign aid we receive from all the rich countries. BRAVO ALL ST LUCIA HEROES!!!!!!
