Grynberg and Taiwan – Let’s Get It Right!

Good measured piece Micah. Yes, I can't seem to wrap my mind around the whole idea of looking at blatant theft of government money by the UWP as equitable to Grynberg. I have said in previous postings that Grynberg was supposed to have been the 2011 victory issue for the UWP, Fredrick who first talked about it in Grenada with the shady Grenadian character did not have any foresight about the can of worms he was opening for his own inept Prime Minister King. Ofcourse all of our dirty laundry about Earl trying getting King to sign and D'Auvergne taking the papers from Earl in the parking lot has been one great story. I am telling you only in Saint Lucia.

Grynberg is still relevant. Two wrongs don't make a right. When you add the amount of potential legal fees on Grynberg, and what it will cost us in the end (should that crazy man in Texas prevail), the town and village money might be chicken feed.

The fact is KENNY ANTHONY committed an illegal act if the Act clearly states that the "GOVERNOR GENERAL" is the individual named in the relevant provision of that MINERALS (VESTING) ACT with the Authority to SIGN.

This is a very important LICENCE to be signed. In my view it points to KENNY ANTHONY's warped sense of importance to himself, bloated in false power, not recognizing that he is no way as smart/bright as he believes he is; and if he did this knowing full well that he had no legal authority to do this; then it raises a whole new dimension about what is behind the act, the agenda, what we St. Lucians are not privy to.

And it can have us wondering what was behind his [Kenny Anthony's] motive for by-passing the Governor General. When he ought to know the Law and its significance in terms of compliance with its relevant provisions. Therefore one is apt to conjure thoughts of corruption? crookery? Dishonesty? What is this illegal act of signing; when the Governor General should have been the one to grant such approval.

Now he is busy trying to bypass the people of St. Lucia by trying as hard as he possibly can to do away with our last source of fairness and Justice; the PRIVY COUNCIL; and desperately attempting to hang the CCJ Caribbean Court Of Justice, I rather call it the Caribbean Crooked Justice, around our necks. But someone will pay a very high price if any such thing takes place without a referendum.

When I consider the Rochamel, and the NCA and the Communications and Works Commission of Inquiry, among others including the New-York Helenites Building, I cannot think good about KENNY ANTHONY.

And his recent move to snob the USA Meeting with the USA's VICE-PRESIDENT and found the time during that same period to go to Cuba to attend an insignificant matter. Then as far as I am concerned the man ought to be relieved of his Prime Ministerial Office. He is a disgrace to St. Lucia.

Chalk and cheese. You have to be a real country bookie and quite a simpleton at that, not to be able to distinguish between
REPEAED ACTS of bypassing the legal channels of the disbursement of what ought to be funds, which ought to have been done UNDER RULES GOVWERNIING TRANSACTIONS RELATED TO THE CONSOLIDATED FUND of the government of Saint Lucia.

Especially for parliamentarians, where oftentimes the extremely blind lead the very blind, IGNORANCCE OF THE LAW (which parliamentarians ought to be conversant with) IS NO EXCUSE.

There is ABSOLUTELY NO EVIDENCE, that even where the PM apparently OVERSTEPPED and went BEYOND HIS REMIT, there was NOT a scintilla of evidence that ANY MONIES PASSED HANDS, a great deal of which is NOW UNACCOUNTED FOR, and may well have been spirited away.

Stop the boorish country bookie borbolist co-co macaque on display up here.

My, my, my. There is none so blind as those who will not see. I guess it's ok to defend the defendable but to try and defend Kenny in the Grynberg matter is insane. Do you know that when Jack Grynberg got his licence he rented a boat from our Marine Police Department for escort when he went out to fool around in the Dauphin sea pretending to scout the area? Do you also know that the government of Lucia had to be paid for use of this boat? Do you know that the payment by Grynberg was sent via the personal account of Earl Huntly? Is this how a government is supposed to be paid for services rendered? How much money was sent? Was any of this money for the personal benefit of Earl Huntly? Was any of it for Kenny Anthony? Will we ever know? Having signed a licence he clearly was not authorized to sign, can any of you put your hand in fire for Kenny or absolve him of corruption in this matter? I dare you. Kenny has a lot more to answer for. Wait till the Clico matter opens up. Do you realize how silent he has remained on it?

Was Earl Huntley the signatory or was it the PM. Are these two one and the same? Now if a third party other than the government of Saint Lucia's Treasury was a beneficiary of monies being exchanged, isn't that party the one that should be made to answer for this? How can the evidence be established, that such an exchange did in fact take place?

The role of the PM in all this has not yet been brought before the courts to be adjudicated.

This absolutely stinks. It looks as though (but we need to see evidence) that Kenny acted outside his authority which means the agreement should be invalid. Unfortunately it looks as though King may also have tried to extend the agreement. He has also acted ultra vires but it explains why all parties want to 'leave it be'.

Lucians deserve better, too many people have their hand in the till. Kenny in particular is a funking disgrace of a man.

Kenny has the Slave-master's gene, he just wants power to control, to whip the people...but he forgot that he is not the Head of State of Saint Lucia and the GG is representing our Queen. Kenny, the Emperor (at least in his mind) with no clothes.

'Card-carrying members' of both parties wish to give each PM a pass.

Neither party give a hoot about the country as a nation. The post-independence history tells a much more sinister and disturbing story.

When either of these two parties is in office, after taking care of their own yardfowls (financial campaign contributors as contractors, fund-raisers, foot soldiers doing the canvassing, etc), the rest of the country continually faces a swift scissor-like panther war exercise, from both the SLP and UWP blades of the scissors. We are all end up getting our collective behinds cut, by the existing and extremely lousy leadership, into ribbons.
