Tell them, 'accelerators' and 'incubators'. Those less than moronic politicians and mandarins, might permit themselves to investigate and replace their usual moronic fluff with sensible government policy, just for a change.

Mandarins their most obvious skill being their daily warming up chairs in their various ministries, show repeatedly that are absolutely clueless like their very ignorant political masters, about devising strategic management policy for this country.

LPM, if it ever stood a chance of a snowball in hell, to break through the-dog-under-the-table-waiting-for-its-master's-political-crumbs mentality of the mass of Saint Lucian voters, if Saint Lucians could ever allow themselves to be educated enough, brought this business development approach mentioned above right out into the open many, many moons ago.

Barbados Advocate
quoting the Barbados Central Bank Governor:

Pay special attention to the last paragraph in particular that has quoted here.
=======
Barbados is also ahead of the rest of the Caribbean, as it has a strong institutional framework for collective decision-making in the national interest, he noted.

Dr. Worrell also opined that the country’s Social Partnership is the envy of countries worldwide, our economic information systems are the equal of many industrial countries, the country also has an active and knowledgeable media and economic issues are openly discussed and debated.

What is also key, he said, is that the framework for economic policy is robust, with daily monitoring of key indicators and there is an effective mechanism for feedback and corrective action.
