NWU – No to LIAT transformation into an Essential Service

This is an extremely hostile anti-union and political kite for any government to even consider flying, in a so-called democratic country. Let us hope that good sense still exists and prevails.
Any such move is equivalent to a deliberate and exploitative attempt to balance the risible and confounded performance inefficiencies of an extremely poorly-run company, on the backs on its workers.
Predictably, LIAT's areas of operations, if this ever happens, can only get from its current bad state, to an even worse state of affairs. Lord harvest mercy!
That would tarnish the image of the SLP as being very hostile to Labour, in addition to undermining the industrial climate. It begs the question, 'What qualifies as an essential service'?
This very troubling idea reeks of being both communistic, as it becomes forced labour, and arbitrary, it coming with a naked abuse of political power.
