Every thing in this article is right for except point 8.
Why warm up? your body is already 96-98 deg. what is warming up going to do for you?
Second when you stretch you lengthen your muscle and cause your muscle to relax you don't need relax muscle before a long distance event.I'm not saying to jump into your running wear and run, you have to prepare and get your body and mind ready for your event but all that stretching is not needed.
