Utter shame and disgrace, There's no need to have carnival and these mass events in or at sporting facilities, only to have the grounds and equipment destroyed.

How much is it costing each year to do the same,,,who's paying...annaully this wasted expenditure can be use else where..

Carnival should be on the streets ...close of a potion of the highway and do the carnival, check out Caribana in toronto...we close down a section of lake shore and party. 35 bands or more from 10 am to 6 pm. no exceptions.

I wonder how much the CDF payed the police to provide security for carnival? I remember a sponsor gave the SLCA $4000 dollars for a race in the city circuit and the police Charged the SLCA $4000 for them to provide security. I guess the CDF is a national organisation and the SLCA is not.Unless the sporting organisations unite and their members Stand up and protest in a meaningful way its going to happen over and over again.Thats the only way anything will be achieved. Here's another question are the leaders of the Sporting organisations prepared to mobilise their members for such a protest directed at the authorities Or are they going to continue to operate in their selfish ways only when something affect their individual organisation?
