i believe the police commissoner should take a more active roll in managing the police force meaning strick restritions on our men on duty. Also find better ways for crime management. Not asking for a miracle but to see some progress in our police department.

concern citizen.

Do not ask police officers to do more than they do.
Ask criminals to do less than what they do.

But you do not understand, sir, that the policemen are in cohorts with the criminals; why; who do you think supply most of those criminals or rather "dogs" with firearms?

Do you understand or are you aware of what really (underlining)the economy is running on.

Example: you work for a salary of $12,000/month; your spouse work for a salary of $10,000/month. You live in a $1.2 million house; you drive a BMW, your wife a Mercedes and assuming you have one kid, an SUV. Monthly mortgage payment on house - say $11,500; payment on BMW, Mercedes and SUV $4,500; leaving you with a balance of $4,000. Of course being in that perceived social brackets, you go out to dinner 4x a night; takes expensive trips; entertain; etc, etc...ask yourself; how does anyone on such an income live such a lifestyle - AND THIS IS WHAT IS HAPPENING IN ST. LUCIA. Every Tom, Dick and Harry, regardless of income bracket; live a life, that will, undoubted, raise questions.

Most, if not all, of the police force are corrupt. Look at immigration; passport office. Some well known criminals walks the streets with impunity.

Politicians with perceived unanswered questions hanging about them stretches a mile long, walks the halls of government; unashmedly...think beyond the box and herein lies all our answers to the problems facing St Lucia, cuz it stems from the top filtering down...

I am a St Lucian residing in the US and is getting ready to retire. I will earn roughly $1950 US a momth after retirement. I was planning to return to St Lucia and pass the the experience I have gained in the field of computer technology and marketing to the youhg people of my birth country, but I am afraid. I am for real, When I am in St Lucia I do not feel safe.

This Island is not that much larger than Queens New York and 18 murders in 7 months and countimg, with a corrupt Police Department, crooked polititians, lawyers that encourage and assist criminals and murderers beat the Justice System so they can profit and egiosticlly enhance their reumes. It is scary...

"Murders walking the Streets."

This sounds like the title to a movie, no it is not, this is Simply Beautiful.

I think I will reamin right here in the States...I am even thinking of not spending my next vaccation in this little pkace of horrors I use to call home and loved so much.
