Do the living have equal rights to the dead?

As a young boy I used to ride my Bike to Vigie Beach and spend the afternoon there swimming, playing Ball and looking for Fat Pokes and generally passing the time away. 50 years later, on my vacations, I see that the Cemetery have grown twice its original size. When and where do we stop? Vigie is the most beautiful Beach in St.Lucia, but bad Planning and neglect is quickly destroying the scenery. I have left orders to my family, when my time comes, that my body be cremated. No need for all the religious nonsense. Will some body in St.Lucia take this Petition to the authorities, and put an end to further extension to the cemetery? SAVE VIGIE BEACH.

Where did I get the impression that the cemetery at Vigie would be closed, and that a new location had been earmarked for a proper burial ground ... now just where, and when did I hear this? Was it at a budget speech some years ago? I hope I am right ... it is HIGH TIME that the cemetery at Vigie be closed.
