Why Our Political Hypocrisy Is Crime’s Best Friend

before the 2011 elections Robert Lewis successfully portrayed himself as an honest, caring, selfless moral and religious member of the SLP.HE also took a number of positions on issues, positions he has reversed.
His position on vat has changed.his position on gambling(Slot machines throughout the island)has changed. His position on subsidised school transportation has changed. His position on crime in terms of who should be held accountable has changed.
Do we see a wolf in sheep's clothing?
WHERE was the honesty and christian-like attribute when he was asked to say what happened on the Soufriere bridge between Chastenet and Dalson.Although he knew exactly what happened and how it happened his response was"I have heard worst things being said."
HE did not truthfully answer the question. He chose not to be honest,by not saying what happened.
A true christian would have said exactly what happened (the truth)regardless who was shown in bad light.
Is it now a case of the salary and perks is now more valuable than honesty, integerty morality and christian beliefs?

I agree with you up there. Robert Lewis is a big disappointment. He reminds me of Mikey Pilgrim's T Jai sey act that vanished over night. This fellas had a lot say when they wanted to be in power but have left very little to be desired.

Yes indeed. The Labour Party's chickens have come home to roost.

In 179 they threw plastic bags of human excreta on the faces and heads of persons attending a political party meeting on the Boulevarde in the city of Castries.

And this can never be forgotten. I am reliably told by those who were putting the excreta in the cellophane plastic bags that a senior/principal politician now in government was a major organizer of this event. I am told that those plastic bags were being filled with the human excreta at a residence in a place called Sapphire near Piaye.

Revenge is mine saityh the LORD. I will repay.

Now the massive bombshell hanging over the head of St. Lucia like the sword of damocles relating to the dangers at the Financial Intelligence Unit in Castries headed by Paul Thompson; etc. will end up in a terrible state. I hope for exposing this country to that level of disaster and danger; they be put behind barrs. Whether here or overseas. Not too long from now, I suspect there will be a request for their extradition; and in the meantime; they will be here under house arrest.

That's true. SLP is reponsible for the state of the country today. If you preach and sitiway violence what you expect? They think people forget how bad johns got out of style and mash up the whole of Castries.

Saint Lucians lack personal and especially political discipline. They have no manners, no matter what homes they come from or their parents look like, low and high society same khaki pants. Des bands cochons.

Don't talk this way about the people of St Lucia. Yes, an alarming number of young people are wayward and unmannerly but it does not mean that all are. There's a lot of work to be done to turn this thing around. We can't give up.

Sep 26@ 3:15, here is the likely scenario. UWP wins a majority of seats including that for that Fredricks character. However Chastanet cannot.

Who with multiple gorgettes, punches in the face and a faked gun battle as a show of force and who is boss, in the constituency office, and so on, will become PM?
