Every marketing campaign requires a post-mortem to decide what needs improvement and what could have been done a lot better. No system is perfect.

Yet, to date, there seems to be no serious attempt to ascertain or verify quantitatively or in dollar terms, what is, or what has been or what will be the return on investment from this campaign.

A basic approach would have been to get a 'feel' by tagging the response a specific telephone number for example, and checking the response rate. Perhaps, no thought was given to that. No the feedback mechanism appears to be absent.

Perhaps too, some of the $200,000.00 could have be shared with expenditure on a very focused, but brief marketing course for ALL -- especially government officials in the various tourism agencies.

W. Edwards Deming (1900-1993), Quality Guru for the Japanese says: "If it is measured, it can be improved."

When Japan famously but briefly ascended to the Number 1 economic position in the world, it measured EVERYTHING!

Isn't it hypocritical on the part of the UWP to come out and make believe that Moneys was spend foolishly.
The former tourism minister should stop this by making St Lucians believe he is a better manager.
Who spend moneys more for tourism than Allen Chastenet, Plus He showed no respect for his boss nor his cabinet colleage, and today he is out there as mr perfect.
Millions was given to st lucia, Millions borrowed, Millions to st jude, Plus Millions from Taiwan to each UWP ministers for their constituency. What did they do with these millions.
How about before the court with the Tuxedo villa affair.
Who's being Hypocritical

SMH in utter disgust at the UWP.

Why, dear God, why are they digging these holes for themselves?

Accountability: UWP will not know accountability even if it hit them squarely in their lying faces!

What comes to mind is what did Hepple bring to the table after Ti Chas paid him $450,000 US for the 3-year contract when he was Minister.
