great news. However St. Lucia needs an ambulance service with paramedics and not EMTS it doesn't have to be a different entity from the fire service but fire fighters should not be used as EMT's and they really need to invest in paramedics. Emts can only do basic emergency work no type of advanced life support unlike a paramedic.

Since our emergency vehicles are often involved in accidents my question is;
Why is there no "extra strong locally made bumper" ,standing out 1 ft on front of the actual body.
This could prevent this total loss of ambulance vehicles.
...just a idea.

I second the above suggestion...let the bumper deal with whichever obstacle happens to get in the way...not the actual body of the vehicle..

What a Great idea - a Killer Ambulance with iron rams for bumpers! How about putting missiles on the front bumper-rams to evaporate any potential collision?

7:45 you deserve the Nobel Price for Physics.

Great News - what goes around comes around- Play it forward. Leicestershire Fire and Rescue U.K. supply a Fire Engine to Turkey then Turkey gives St Lucia an Ambulance, keep it up!

If all you can think of is a design from a old MACK construction truck whats on our roads you might be right.
But it can be done nicer and safer (if you looking in industrial designs).
