This is where the voice diffrenciates itself from the Rick Wayne's the STAR.

This is what you call Civic duty or responsility. Maybe rick can learn a thing or two.

The Voice has exposed this matter without the usual hype which surrounds the STAR's protection of dirty acts by the UWP.

Thumbs UP!

I agree with the VOICE and leave politics out because this is a Lucian concern not partisan politics.

Wow, wow, wow; I am so impressed with The Voice Publishing for such logical, analytical and constructive journalism.

THE VOICE PUBLISHING IS OUR OMBUDSMAN, not the other bias Newspaper; always defending the undefendable (UWP); and always portraying scantily dressed women for emphasis to sell his paper.

GOOD JOB, THE VOICE...You traveled; wherever that may be, to bring us the truth.

Now, we await some lies and inuendoes from the other paper, et al...

In Chess, it's called: CHECK-MATE!
In Saint Lucia, it's called: CHECK MATE....OUT!

Wait for the next A&M story....why is A&M being awarded the Desruisseaux road, again a direct award and no tender process. This road was originally to be financed by the CDB. Is the design/build/finance contract awarded to A&M better value than the financing by the CDB?

Relax SLP. No need to try and seek political milage out of an already bad situation. Stop the witch hunte. It's a turn off for those of us who want a fair and balance approach as what has been presented by the Voice.

AMAZING! Here we have another clear example how little administrations learn from each other's mistakes and when they act more in the name of politics that governance.

When Labour came into office in 1997, one of the first things they did was to set up a Commission of Inquiry into the the Compton and lewis administrations. Evidently they learned nothing from that experience and went on to give birth to Rochamel, which became one of the items of review of the Ramsahoye Commission, set up by the UWP. Now even as the UWP prepares to pass a Bill that it claims is intended to close loopholes in the Finance Act, we now have the Asphalt and Mining saga which appears to have the same disgusting stench as Rochamel. From the article, it seems clear that every effort is being made to keep AMG as the preferred bidder on this project, despite its obvious weaknesses. MAZING.

lol...last anonymous...it is indeed a "maze" surrounding this whole issue.

can't anything be done in st lucia without a scandal of some variety?

I note with intierest that my first post on the matter was never posted. It certainly contained nothing liblous or inflamatory and I'd appreciate that it be posted.

There seems to be an unrealistic expectation among St. Lucians that this government will act in the interest tof the people of St. Lucia on this matter and leave their pockets unlined at the end of the day. It is not going to happen until we all St. Lucians of whatever political stripe demand from them full transperancy and accountability.

This situation presents us avery good opportunity for so doimg let us not waste it. Let dire a shot across the bow and serve notice to this administration and succedding ones that we will not settle for nothing less than good governance and that our capacity to tolerate corruption or any semblance of it has been exhausted.

Forgot to tip my hat to the Voice for an excellent piece of journalism well researched, well written - to inform and allow ud the readers to draw our own conclusions.

give kenny and leo clark the contract.

Thumbs up to the voice for a piece well researched and thoroughly analysed. This is the knid of journalism I have an appreciation for and in the final analysis the reader is left to come to his conclusion whether there is underhandednesss or corruption.

The author seems to have written the brief for either of the other two companies to file a case for Judicial Review against SLASPA/Gov. of St. Lucia

does anyone know more than just the name of this company (AMG). if you took the time to check you can not find them anywhere but in St. Lucia news

why is that?
an american company without a website?
