Dear Alvin:
As you well know, the younger generation of St. Lucians have no one else to put the blame squarely on for the lack of leadership in the home and nation, which is now imploding, but on Peter Josie, George Odlum and John Compton, who all were leaders in the 1960's, 1970's and up to the 1980's. The home/domestic life records of these three men are well known, and I need not record them here. I have limited space. In summary, these men had no respect for either their wives or children, or women, for that matter, considering the multi- fold households they tried to head all at one time, left only ruin, acknowledged or otherwise by those affected, in its wake. So, today, what we are witnessing, is the phenomenon of " the childrens teeth are on edge, because their fathers' ate sour grapes". At the time, they were the cocks-men, no one took a stand, considering that they were societal leaders, and therefore the rest of Society's men, and the young ladies too, took a cue.

Yes, without boundaries, there are no limits on conduct. Correctly so indeed, the political SHIT which Josie (Peter), George Odlum and John Compton did in St. Lucia, for the sake of their quest for political power and money to run their adulterous affairs with as many women they chose to keep, and as many children they desired to breed, has over several decades come home to roost. This mayhem which St. lucia is now experiencing, is a culmination of what passed for Community leaders, as misplaced role models, in the persons of Peter Josie, George Odlum and John Compton. In one instance, the wife of one of these men, seems to have lost her mind. The other two, I strongly believe were not far from that, because in some form or fashion, they knew how to take their own style of vengeance, which is well known, albeit to keep their sanity. And could we have blamed them. I say no sir.So against that backdrop, there were certainly no boundaries, their (these three men) shameless conduct continued, embarassing both their wives and offsprings,I suspect, and there were obviously no limits on conduct in the country generally.

Furthermore, the kind of choo-maman politics they continued to engage in year after year, houses on fire, strange deaths, character assinations, Chinese cabinets, for example, Too-Jour-Soo, for Vaughn Lewis, Papa Jab for John Compton, who was then Prime Minister, all left complete bitterness, hidden hatred, vile contempt in the hearts of many in this country. In fact, Peter Josie and george Odlum are still today, as I write hated and looked upon with utter contempt by many. Later, when John Compton was identified for the wretch that he was, he too, felt the hatred and contempt of the people of St. Lucia, hence, no one cared about any bogus statue in memory of John Compton. Many discuss it within the parmeters of their four walls. But as you know, many too, are hypocrites.Plywood City is but another grim reminder which left much pain and suffering to many, up to today. The 1979mysterious death of the woman named Carol, from Marchand, found under the Marchand bridge, is yet still fresh in the minds of her family. During the political heyday of Peter Josie, George Odlum and John Compton, anything goes, in any form, to whomsoever they wished or attempted to destroy, all in the name of getting political power and making money on the backs of St. Lucia.

Suffice it to say, both George Odlum and John Compton, before our very eyes, died disgracefully. Sickness humbled them long before they died. The rest is history. Peter Josie lingers on yet awhile, leaving todate, an unenviable record of a life sowing hatred and discord.

Yes indeed, with that type of history, which these three men have left behind, chaos must return to torment St. Lucian society. Tanto Tanto.

Blogger Number 1, you omitted to say that at one point, all for the need to gain political power and put their hands on money, both Peter Josie and george Odlum, sucked up to John Compton, becoming "friends" at all cost, but as you would recall, the friendship was suspended, as the game plan never held up. Remember too, power by any means necessary, was their motto. And this they did and meted out with hatred and malice, and with great vile. It was also well known that George Odlum often said, that Peter Josie was really the one to fear when it comes to ruthlessness, and Peter Josie made no apologies about that.

Then was either worst in nature than the other? It was well known in St. Lucia, when Peter Josie's home was set ablaze with his wife and children fast asleep, who had been responsible. The importation of the lethal weapons---guns of all kinds, we all know who brought them in. The high-jacking of Radio St. Lucia, from which poor joyce Auguste has never recovered, is another matter.

Yes, Peter Josie, without boundaries, there are no limits on conduct, chaos has returned to torment St. Lucian Society.

This seeming lack of national pride is evident in what passes as a Government today. Inparticular persons attending meetings overseas like Arsene James, who is a disgrace for Government representation, what a shame. All school laughing at the pronounciation and diction. Get trained Arsene. Then you have the hooking and crooking of Allen Chastanet and Keith go-jell Mondesir. Then the two Government ministers who displayed a total lack of disrespect for law and order, Astaphan, the one from Dennery South and Marcus Nichols. Then Stephenson King, bending down, live on international television, for Wyclef Jean. Allowing the country to be fractured, trying to hold on to the infamous Ausbert D'Auvergne and the Daher Building.
Does this represent National Pride? or clear leadership? Hypocrites, hypocrites. Who's on the Borbol List.

Nobody in the right frame of mind could be proud of what passes for government in St Lucia. Guy Joseph, Arsene James,Richard Frederick. Need I say more????

No one is their right frame of mind would want to support or vote for a lying former PM ( Kenny). What makes Kenny any different from Richard Frederick and company? You think god loves Kenny but hates the others? God does not appreciate liars.

These fellars in the current Government have just precipitated the concerns of a deteriorated St. Lucia that Alvin expressed in his interview, following and continuing the dirty work of John compton, Peter Josie and george Odlum. Stephenson King is Compton incarnate. If there is such a thing as this. But the saddest part of that national show is that Kenny Anthony let St. Lucians down. He never appreciated our trust. But then again when you look at it, should we be surprised. He does not seem to have had any trustworthy record. The damn media just hyped him up.

If you say Kenny let StLucia down I wonder what you will say about John Compton and Stephenson King. They did us all a world of good, right?????
According to the biggest UWP hack, 'in your mouth.'
