It is pelucidly clear (a la Velon John !) that the St. Lucia Labour Part is in desperate straits to have planned for Pierre to bring up the race card in order to play to the victimhood mentality of some St. Lucians.

After four years of the UWP in power, the SLP thought that with the errors made that they would be able to roll back into government without any changes in their lineup or leadership.

To their surprise and their polls it turns out that St. Lucians do NOT trust the SLP leadership and are willing to give the UWP time to settle down.It seems to be working with 80 %+ occupancy with the hotels and projects about to come on stream.

In desperation they shout RACISM from the rooftops.
They have again started their attacks on the Taiwanese who have been such a boon to the development of St. Lucia in a time of global recession.

Anything to get back into power.

But with Gros Islet, Castries North ,Castries Central, Babanneau, Castries South East, Micoud North and South, Dennery North, Anse La Raye Soufriere and Choiseul in the bag for the UWP the SLP can be expected to throw a lot more dirt befor elections is called.

The United Workers Party in any civilised country, would not exist. This is rather recognised as a group of croo---and crimin---.

On the other hand, Kenny Anthony, instead of being sincere about the things that he is pursuing, we hope for the country, gets himself tangled up with the same old political crass, that we are tired of in St. Lucia. You mean Kenny does not remember the haunting and outrage issues of that demented Government? I for one cannot wait for the many probes which must be done regarding for example, the Daher Building, the million dollars paid by FAN CHOU, to UWP candidates, the mess going on at the Ministry of Finance, the Tuxedo Gate Affair, and so on, and so forth. The fact is, when one is not of a sincere countenance, they are prone to fall in some very strange webs. How the heck Kenny Anthony can allow Stephenson King, to appear to be brighter than him? I am lost. Is this what we call street-smarts? Well bal fini, violin en sac. Kenny ought to examine the various issues in his party including himself, very well. Be honest with yourself first. Can Mario Michel take the Lead, and the rest push behind. Many are willing to vote for Labour, including UWP's. But the labour vote is not all that is needed to win. Kenny must ensure that the large and growing by the second, independent group of voters, is watching with great interest. Just be real. Highlight the mess that passes for government. Pound on the issues facing the country which is stark. We ain't forking.

Blogger number one, what are you saying?? I mean really. Your words are a jumbled mess and your feeble attempt at humor has escaped me. But then again that is what happens when a weak-backboned UWP dodges his party's issues to make the opposition look bad. We will all know what StLucians want come the next elections. Don't worry your flambeau ego stroking head about that yet.

#1 So we St lucians are stupid to re elect the UWP although, you mentioned you party made so many errors and they still will regain ALL the 11 seats they are now holding. I an not surprised because your semi literate PM say he will win 14 seats. SLP must open their eyes on the voters list because these crocks will try to manipulate the list, to their advantage. You all can us racism as an excuse all you want, that will not affect us because Pierre is black and we ALL are black. If you are white that is your hard luck.

You r a racist, get help.

Are you kidding me?? Someone is branded a racist just because they realise the UWP thinks all of us are fools?? Newsflash!!! We are not. Well some of you are. Let the UWP know that of their 14 claimed seats Micoud South is out of their grasp. So they can predict till they are blue or should I say, yellow, in the face. It aint happening again, flambeau. Never!!!!!!!!!!!

I believe with the intensity some people is writing on this board i believe they will faint when SLP win the next election. Imagine they criticize the SLP for all the good development they did in St Lucia, even universal secondary education. We has an ASS in Jam as our minister of education, saying from the start we are not ready to provide schooling for ALL our youth, parents will not be able to afford to send their children to school etc, etc, how insane. This man is fighting from that the start, trying to make it fail. Imagine this year they did not assign any students to the Grand Riviere and VF technical schools, and there were student who were not assigned. That means in his view we have to many schools in St Lucia.

#1 I think you are crazy or just plainly bias, you really believe you can just make false statements and we all will shallow that. The SLP has already launched FOUR NEW candidates and just named another one in M S and you want to make us believe there is no change in their lineup. You want to also make us believe that after nearly FOURS years in office, four budgets where they promised us the world, we St Lucians are still willing to give your UWP government a chance to settle down. Every month we are paying each minister our taxes just to give them a chance to settle down, after nearly a whole term. Does that make any sense to you? As a matter of fact we have the biggest cabinet in the history of St Lucia to pay and all they do is try to settle down, how insane. What sense does it make to talk about 80% occupancy rate in hotels when so many workers are loosing their jobs? Who is benefiting from that? Do you really believe St lucians will be fooled by a few last minute corrupt projects just before election? You could shout RACISM to the top of your lungs that will not affects us because Dr Anthony, Mr Pierre and all of us are black, so they cannot use racism against us, therefore their racism will not affect us, so that is a none issue. They have a right to talk about Taiwan because Chou is interfering in our domestic politics, i have heard him personally criticizing the opposition on the media. Have you ever heard any other foreign ambassador doing that? Taiwan is not the only embassy who is or that can help St Lucia, but none of them has the right to be involved in our local politics as Chou is doing. The SLP has the right to want to come back to office, to continue the massive development they started in St Lucia, which was stalled by this corrupt UWP government. So try your comment later, you might make a little more sense,

The SLP functionaries on this blog "doth protest too much".
The level of vitrole and viciousness is par for the course for those waiting to feed at the trough.
All St. Lucians should just imagine and contemplate the type of governance we will revert to if persons with so much bile were to get into power again !

The violent responce from the hacks is standard practice for persons of this mentality when faced with FACTS. They are so quick to latch onto the RACISM
tag to push for the redistribution of wealth from those of our people who earned it from hard work and those who want it as freeness from government.

Thankfuly as we learnt in 2006 the loudest most vicious talkers and bloggers do not outnumber the calm producers who really make the country work.

The more we read their vindictive speil on the web the more we know where to turn come elections in 2011 or 2012.

So kenny reprimanded Pierre for speaking the truth. Question he reprimand Bousquet for canvassig a job with the UWPs?
So kenny has iniated a poll to find the impact of the Pierre statement, will the poll also evaluate Kennys faupas.
The poll must ask this question"If the SLP was led by Philip Pieree would you vote SLP?
