Irrespective of political affiliation, Mr. Chou direct disbursements of funds to UWP party members is definitely affecting the chances of independent candidates and the other candidates in the other two political parties.
Mr. Chou is therefore GUILTY of interfering the internal affairs of Saint Lucia. Period.
Yes. Thanks to his largesse, the UWP appears to be working. Without those direct infusions of money, the UWP would have nothing to show on its scoreboard.
Dr. Anthony is making yet another mistake. Other Governments do fund projects through different vehicles/mediums e.g. the Japanese Fisheries Complexes are not financed through the Consolidated Fund.
What I do agree with is that the method of financing has to be transparent to avoid corruption as everybody knows how corrupt the three UWP Ministers are.
We need the assistance of the Taiwanese for our people's wellbeing, so let's get a transparent way to make it happen which is not necessarily through the Consolidated Fund because of red tape...LET'S DO IT FOR ST. LUCIA
KENNY (as leader of the SLP and as an elected official in opposition), I THINK IT IS HIGH TIME TO PRESENT YOUR CASE TO THE WORLD COURT IN GENEVA THROUGH THE UNITED NATIONS.
