Musa?? What was that??? While I agree with some of what u said, this is a runaway piece of writing in itself. You are part of the St Lucia House of Assembly. Please do better than that next time. This was a wanna be intellectual account.

... is this from a man who was once principal of a school in modern day Saint Lucia? Musa's diatribe tells more about the inherent fear of the SLP going into the next general election than the state of the UWP. Musa scores C- for this effort.

You mean not even the regular SLP airheads on this blogs stood up to defend Musa? Ah wah.

i agree with the first blogger that was really a run away piece of writing that had me running away too

I have often been bewildered about the seeming reluctance of the St. Lucia Labour Party to 'push behind' for want of a better word, behind gentlemen like MOSES JN. BAPTISTE and the representative from Laborie, whose name does not come readily to mind. Both of these gentlemen represent their constituencies very well, and make an excellent representation of themselves whenever they make any public pronouncements. They are eloquent, suave, decent-looking (and I hope they are, at least as best as you can find them) and deal effectively with the issues confronting the nation.

This article is an excellent piece, dealing with the issues, relating to the UWP,analytical, clear-thinking and smooth for the average reader.

In my view, both Moses Jn.Baptiste and the Rep. from Laborie, make a much better presentation and class in the House of Assembly, than Kenny Anthony or Phillip Pierre. That's a fact,as far as I am concerned, if one os objective. Kenny Anthony, comes across consistently as a FARCE, someone who continues to tell himself, project yourself as "this", someone other than himself.

I believe Mr. MOSES Jn. Baptiste, given the right support could be a distinguished Prime Minister for Saint Lucia, unless of course, I am missing other pertinent personal background /profile.This gentleman, given the right positioning, would be to Saint Lucia, a fresh breath from the wreck of Kenny Anthony and/or Phillip Pierre.

Put it plain and simple. SLP just don't have no leaership material left in it. Time to move on....I have....

ok those of you who commented in the negative, to Musa's article have yet to discuss exactly what is so "runaway" about the article....typical roro analysis. Respond with a counter analysis! That is how people and societies develop.
The UWP dumped Karl and Flood, didn't they? Jeanine is dancing with all of them.....and King is paranoid about Kenny's VFort South hold....time will tell........

so write a counter analysis leave the roro for king and company...

LOL. Roro?????? If you are bright enough you will see though Musa's runaway article. SLP is the most roroous party in the whole of St Lucia. Viciousness, lies, roro, twisting bunnies, no disc of issues is the SLP's trade mark. St Lucians are about fed up with all of this. What is the SLP planning on doing better is what we are waiting to hear. Tell Musa take a hike and return to school.

A friend email to say that things are not looking up labour. She said if my a stroke of luck Kenny should win, she personally will buy him a BMW ( his car of choice).

You have a lot of educated jackasses in the SLP. There are plenty who went to school on a Saturday and Sunday and topped off their degree on a rum day!!!!

Look around you how many of them are employed with their so called degrees? All they are good for is to run their mouths, and that they know how to do very well.

Which is better: an SLP educated "jackass" or a an idiotic, uneducated flambeau?

Anonymous said...

They both deserve a kick!!!! Flambeau and SLP are not chokim and chocam!!!

Anonymous said...

They are like worse and worser!!! LOL

why doesnt Musa write a piece about the battle between Old Labour and New Labour which has been raging ever since Julian Hune was kicked out and Kenny kicked in?

Musa is a decent guy but as a politician he is same ole same ole. It's all games I tell you...games

Good analysis Musa. The venom with which the mindless ones have attacked you (not your analysis) is clearly indicative of how spot on your article is.

This method of so-called argument, attacking the person rather than dealing with the issues (ad hominem)is characteristic of those who seek to prop up the untenable.

And as for those who make patronising statements appearing to favour you (note again, not your analysis but you)- their real objective is clearly to use your undeniable talent for incisive discourse to sidestep the real issues of a clueless, effete and demonstrably corrupt bunch of rogues masquerading as a party. And at the same time trying to whip the dead horse of a manufactured leadership struggle in the SLP.

Well done Musa - Keep on writing and speaking in this vein: along with Dr. Anthony, Alva Baptiste, Philip Pierre and others we look forward to the leadership in government which will bring some sanity back to governance and direction to the development philosophy of this little country whose resources are too scarce to be so callously frittered away.
