I still don't know whether his answer is yes there are too many lawyers or no there aren't enough.
Like a lawyer, he spoke on both sides of his mouth to good effect. LOL!
You .the lawyers are responsible for the miss understanding or breakdown in communication as it is your responsibility to ensure the client understand the fees involved before you act.
It is rather unbecoming for you within the profession to expect the layman to understand when you communicate to them above their level,
My recommendation is the profession needs to constantly reflect on it's general image and seek to tackle the negativity of the so call esteemed profession.
