I am really sorry form the man who was wrongly accused of theft, I agree with the writer who it appears believes that because the complainant was a minor celebrity the police took action and this was heavy handed. I have had several experiences involving crime perpetrated against me and at no time did the police give me the same level of interest as in this case, in fact they make you feel like the criminal, or dismiss your concerns as irrelevant. I too am very disappointed with the force why do we have police when they are not interested in protecting the rights of all its citizens and where is presumed innocent until proven guilty by due process? We need to have a human rights act that can be excercised and violations of said act acted upon through the courts.
