If the language used is going to be patios ask Joookbuaah to contest all the seats. If the language is going to English, 70 per cent of the eligible voters will not understand if the key issues are discussed. St. Lucia is between a rock and a hard place. Compton educated and Kenny followed in lockstep to create an education system for school-leavers to work in banana fields.
Well said. But at least maybe it is worth a try. Can you imagine ASS-IN-JAMES debating on education in english. Or guy joseph on communications in english, or morne-day-zord, speaking english, he says he has a degree, and calls himself a doctor, and speaks badly, poor grammar, poor prnounciationetc. etc. Its like the punch and judy show.
Where are we with the former Police Commissioner, Ausbert Regis' case. I mean the current holder of the post of Director, Special Initiatives. He did not seem to know that that post attracted the same emoluments as that of the Commissioner of Police. And if it did not. He was not sharp enough to know that as a matter of practise, his salary would be made persona to him. But clouded by the ugly and sinister influence of KENNY ANTHONY et al, dumb as they are, so called lawyers with all knowledge, they missed such a mundane, yet valuable point. I hope Regis, did not to pay, ASS-TO/CHOO-FAN for such a losy job, any civil servant, worth their salt, could have advised on. Or was this all as Herb Black, termed it--- a political game. Who's running for which consituency? Queek Quak.
That's exactly what we need--PUBLIC DEBATES--that will help to inform us about the quality of our candidates. I would especially like to hear a public debate between PM King and the candidate for Castries North, Dr. Ubaldus Raymond;Emma Hippolyte and Montoute; Fregis and Estaphan;Alvina and Ezecheil;Theophilus and Rufus. St.Lucia we need that forum let's put our voices together to achieve this goal. I think public debates and press conferences are the way to go to ensure that inept and unqualified persons don't waste our time and the public purse.
i will disagree with you 100%, we do not need a debate to know that a candidate is not suited for elected office. We all know UWP is famous for providing us with inferior candidates. How could we vote for people like Guy Joseph, Marcus, Ass Ta Fan, Ass in james, Guy Mayers, Mon day Zee, King, Tucker, Spida, Easy Cal, Frederick . Most of these men just needed a job, we do not need any debate to know these men cannot bring any new or positive policies to help make St Lucia better. We just have to listen to these men speak in public or on platform. All they do is to criticize the opposite party, which is very easy to do. The proof is in the pudding, we all could see the non performance of these men, because we made a mistake to vote them into office. St lucians must be more careful who they vote into political office.
