Even if those ideas were copied from elsewhere, can the other two parties outline such a comprehensive programme of action like this that will make St. Lucia more competitive on the world stage? I think not.
Do the two other parties have a plan? I have not heard of that yet. Some of those MPs barely went to school. They would not even know where to get ideas, if the civil service did not write their speeches for them.
But SLP is ready for elections. Note what it is ready for elections. In fact, SLP is always ready for elections and not much more. That is the problem St. Lucia is facing. People and parties that don't know where they want to go. If you don't know where you want to go, you will get there.
This article shows that these LPM consultants know their onions. They know what it takes to make St. Lucia a developed country and how to create PERMANENT jobs. I see now why they are always flying in and out. These guy can make much more money out of St. Lucia than they can make inside, taking out all the borbol of course.
St. Lucia is really idiot country. Both major parties are clueless how to energize the employment of the youth in meaningful work. But if someone outlines 'best practice' as I see in this article from developing and emerging economies, our many buffoons shout 'arrogance', 'textbook theory, and 'borrowed ideas'. What will it take to move this country from is country-bookie backwardness?
