I join in with the young lady in thanking you for responding to her generic "subject heading" even though she obviously knew better. I must say though, that it is most common for the negative to be noted and get engaged with than the positive. It is evident that she had sent several other "real" emails or letters that never got a response, but this subject heading got a response. I have unfortunately been very discouraged at the fact that business places pose as the ones who ensure formalities are met by employees and potential employees, however, when the requirement lies on their part, they could not be bothered much. I was particularly joyed when I got a letter from one of our banks once, declining my application because there was no vacancy. I was pleased only because this was the ONLY response I got after having sent over ten (10) letters. My charge therefore, is only for business owners to at least show appreciation for one who has considered to work at their establishment.
