What rights ? When God said "go and multiply" it was not to two men or two women. IT WAS A MAN AND A WOMAN.

Put two creatures of the same sex together and see what will be produced from them - no other living being , like wise a thing such as 2 door locks without a key of two make clothes fasteners or hooks. They will not work. So when the Devil sends out its messengers beware and ask God for the Spirit of discernment. What right ?

A brilliant commentary by Mr. Saunders. We need to educate ourselves a lot more rather than settling for believing everything we hear from government, the pulpit etc without thinking for ourselves.. And b4 any1 says anything, I am a heterosexual church going Christian who believes in human rights FOR ALL.. not just for those who we expect to follow our beliefs. Everyone was created equally by God..and I think that that is regardless of race, gender, age, sexual orientation etc.

Homosexuality needs to be decriminalised in this country and the same rights we enjoy extended to them.. But no, we as the morality police and Christian judges of all men would rather see gays and lesbians attacked/abused daily rather than love our fellow (and equal) man as God requires of us.

blogger #1 This is about respect for people, not about their behaviour, god forbid, and forgive you for your ignorant attitudes, people of St Lucia who treat sex in the main as a 'laugh' and don't care or take responsibility if they are having sex with multiple partners; they will call themselves Christians, thats a laugh, you have no right to critizize others. Look at those families who have several fathers involved in one family of childrens live's, do you consider this decent?? No where else in the world is this behaviour accepted so easily as on this island. Go on you Christians tell me why its ok to committ adultry, covert thy neighbours wife, etc. Is it that St. Lucians are too dumb (a view that was publicised following research ' St. Lucia the dumbesty island in the world')because all they have on their minds is who to have the next f.ck with. Go away and educate yourselves because you need to do this big style. He/she who is without sin let him cast the first stone!

The funniest and most ridiculous part of this issue is that NOW that our old slave-colonial 'masters' have decided to change the rules of their so-called moral laws on us (the colonialists), in our hyper-ignorant state of mind, we have NOW become the first to defend the hypocritical moral values of our old masters!!!!
AND we think we are so free nowadays. HA HA!
THINK ABOUT IT PEOPLE!!!!
We have taken on all the worst qualities of our ex-masters and we don't realize that's exactly what we have become. We have become our own worse enemies.
This is the MAIN reason our islands - ALL the Caribbean - are in such a mess!

We have to be tolerant of the view of others and also be aware of where its coming from. I dare say it will take some education and paradigm sifting to get our people to view this issue in its merits.

If we want to quote the Bible we should also take heed that we are all created equal and one in the sight of God.

What we a effectively doing is forcing our brothers, sisters , uncles and aunts to suffer again the pains and anxieties and turmoil that black people faced because of the color of their skin. Only it is because of their sexuality.

Homosexuality is not a choice , same as heterosexuality....non of us get up one day and say hurray I am going to be straight. So why do we think that any right thinking person ,,,knowing full well ...the discrimination and assault that they will face decide that I choose to be Gay.

Come on think.

Or else we are no better than the people who kill in the name of God.
