Hi,
The roads and the driving style in St.Lucia have been always a problem.Driving afterwards for 3 days carefully is not the solution.
I´m sorry for the Family.
The police don´t like to catch over speeding cars. Maybe there do not like to drive fast to ;)

From a tourists point of view - the roads in St. Lucia are very scary. Speeding, passing, no lights for pedestrians to cross safely, please give out more tickets and - enforce the law. I often travel to Castries from Rodney Bay and I feel very, very nervous as the bus drivers speed up and down the roads and pass on corners. When I find a safe driver who obeys the law, I make sure to congratulate him/her.
