Adding insult to injury. We are in dire straights with the economy. Those idiots are showing great respect for those still suffering and ignored by them in the Soufriere area especially. When you get country-bookies leading a so-called government that is what you get.
AA, $100,000 US!!!! For what!! Shouln't that money be spent on the rehabilitation of Soufriere instead?
Why couldn't Chastanet pay for that from his own pockets? His pockets are deep enough - reaping the populace enough from the highway robbery prices on goods in their supermarket shelves!!
We in Soufriere are waiting for you, Chastanet, on election day!
Peter thats the only way we can draw a crowd, by having a some foreign artist. Then we provide the buses with rum and food. so we can build confidence on the numbers.
I'm 100% with you on that P. A. But tell me somebody....anybody, How could any decent human being (if Mr. Chou can be so described) look into a TV camera and say with a straight face after all the undiplomatic behavior he has displayed over the years, that he (Mr. Chou) is conducting himself properly and not severely interfering with the politics and by extension the very democracy of this country? It has to be a downright lie coming out of his Chou (I mean mouth) and he knows very well what he is doing and it's all part of his plan to stay around for another 5 years. Are right thinking St. Lucians powerless to stop him even if he is clearly interfering with our democracy? In my humble opinion, no amount of Taiwanese funds can compensate St. Lucia for the last five years or worse another five years of this present set of thugs, criminals, misfits and enablers who pass for a government. Taiwan is making a concerted effort to purchase St. Lucia and hand it over to the devil. Right thinking St. Lucians must not allow this to happen. We MUST think of our children and not just ourselves.
