DO U MEAN U REMAIN OPTIMISTICALLY PESSIMISTIC... sounds more like it and if there is an oxymoron that is well placed then that is one of them on top of the list ...

But i do agree we need to reduce our import food bill. Afterall alot of our imported foods are filled with growth hormones and other presevatives etc... growing local all goes well for our economy.. i think we need not change our agriculture policy with Taiwan as i recently had thoughts of under this new gov.. we need taiwan to help us grow our economy food wise.. so thank you contributor for correcting my views... I think we also need a major new food outlet to buy farmers produce and they would be the middleman to sell to the hotels so farmers can get a quick return instead of the months of payment delays lots of hotels tend to do with them.. we need a better market facility as well ...
