Stop being a jerk,,,and attempt to distort my intelligence. NO wonder SLU is in this mess.

The hotel occupancy tax is a gift to hoteliers-----kindly explain how one can collect hotel tax from guest, hold the money for government, then say ohhh i don't have it went it's time to send it into the Inland revenue on the 15th and 30 of every month.
It is not hoteliers money, the guest payed it on top of their billing amount for every night they stay at a hotel.

This is white color crime. And a dangerous president, in light of the VAT...i wonder what will happen when business will have collet, hold and then tell the government oooh i don't have money to return to the Inland revenue.

Stick with what you know and hold your crap to your self.

The prime minister delivered a budget of class. He put to rest the myriad of fears associated with VAT and other development that has been propagated by the various malicious mediums. He proffered pragmatic solutions rather than use rhetoric to allay fears.

I'm not into that better or worst than crap, however St. Lucia is definitely on the right path to recovery, development and God willing prosperity.

I wouldn't worry about the budget. My biggest nightmare is TO WAKE AND AND HEAR THE THE PM HAS SIGNED YET ANOTHER FINANCIAL DEAL IN SECRET.

This time I wonder what it is going to cost St. Lucians. Will it be Rochamel, $45 or Black Bay, $58 and now I don't know $85 million?

Financial knuckleheads, King and Kenny don't know or care one thing about managing the people's money.

we all know that this budget is not Kenny's own and that it was copied from Owen Arthur of Barbados. The sad thing about it is that Kenny is a fool to think he can copy a budget wholesale and it will apply here.

True. True. True. It sounded like Owen Arthur was doing the talking. But I think that Owen Arthur had a hand in it, even if Mr. Arthur did not write all of it. But that still makes it a very good budget by design.

Will Kenny do what he says he will do? To do or not to do, that is the question. If not, then we are in deep doo-doo.
