I wonder what the great Doctor (Ubaldus Raymond) would say about this stimulus package. I honestly missed his contributions...somehow he was better able to help the masses better understand matters relating to the economy than others in the government. By the way, who is advising my government in economic affairs since the great doctor has indicated that he was never consulted on any economic issues?

Any Economist working with Kenny must take out liability insurance.
At lease lets discuss the package. Will it help or is it missing someting.
Who is the chief economist or for that matter who are the persons on the economic team in SLU?
Since that are on the public purse is it not a secret...or is it.
Seriously, who is the chief economist in SLU. If Dr. Raymond was never consulted on any economic issues then someone else must be advising Dr. Anthony and his Cabinet on economic matters. St.Lucians need to know who that chief economist is or is there one in the first place, and if there is not one why was Dr. Raymond never consulted on matters of economic import?

You couldn't make up the ineptitude.
Where are St Lucians going to earn the wages to repay these loans? To stimulate the economy in this manner is no more than a ponzi scheme.
What is Lorne Theophilus doing to attract $, € and £ spending tourists to St Lucia? Is he even here? He is absolutely anonymous!
Love him or hate him, Chastanet was a tireless advocate for St Lucia and generated huge publicity for us.
He is gone and the hotel sector is on its knees.
Without financial inflows we are ruined - this is where Kenny and Labour should focus their energies.
According to Dr. Anthony, government will forego over $45 million in revenue in order to facilitate the programme. Hopefully they then make more than that.
The reason why this Government led by Kenny Anthony can subvert fundamental economic sense and the free enterprise system by the raping of people's financial goodwill by doing such things like borrowing money to subsidize a false economy like the transportation sector - is because we have become a Godless culture.
Kenny Anthony in order to subsidize his failed economic policies is wringing every last drop of financial blood out of the people of this country and that is because he completely lacks a moral base and thinks nothing of this as long as he is OK. H
He lacks any empathy for the suffering of our people.
He is Godless , has no baseline morality and thinks that risking our whole economy so that he can remain as the Prime Minister is fine.
His lack of a belief in values and God in a society is expressed by his breaking of all the Ten Commandments with his support of abortion, prostitution, same sex marriage and all the other abberations.

i am wishing that the stimulus package does take influence the economy for the better..lets be positive ppl.. hopefully some hotels which wanted to expand yrs ago might just do so. the last time they had that chance was at the cricket world cup..
hopefully the daher vacant mall can finally get an investor who might see some value in purchasing that bldg since he has access to the stimulus package and would save millions in renovating that daher derelict mall blg.. we need that mall st lucia it would be even better than baywalk and stimulate businesses,entertainment and restaurants in the north even more..
Are you people blind? Dont you see what Kenny is doing? I must give Kenny this though, he is a ver smart thief. Though i am all for the idea of helping the economy and people, looking at this package i cant help but believe that this package is design to pay party faithfuls especially some of which are in debt of over 7 million dollars ( yes you know who you are). Kenny Anthony has derived a scheme to give million dollars to certain businesses by muddying the corruption with this whole stimulus idea. Remember those good corporate souls who gave him a prado? Is it a coincidence that they are all are directly benefiting from this scheme? Is it true that the clan has a development in savaans that will be directly benefiting from this scheme? It will also be interesting to find out who are the members of that clan and the duration of that project. WELL PACKAGED CORRUPTION.
Who will benefit from this venture? Hope it will be poor working St.Lucians, and not just TEAM LABOUR consisting of Fletcher, LaCorbieniere, Kenny, and others. Mind you I am not referring to the TRUE TEAM LABOUR because we know who those persons are. True TEAM LABOUR represent the sidelined group who worked long and hard to gain election victory for the SLP last election. I feel sorry for my party because I simply can't see an election victory for us at the next general elections. However, if things change and Emma is able to lead as our leader we MAY have a chance at victory.

Kenny Anthony is not stupid and history is his teacher. Kenny knows that good or bad economy, he has to feed every single Labor hen and cockroach as long as he is in office.
What did Menissa Rambally and Sonia Johnny do during the five years of Labor loss? NOTHING. They sat around and waited for Kenny to win. He had to give them their meal ticket fast or they would become vagrants.
There are thousands of hens like those two and more. The stimulus package is Kenny's measure to prevent an influx of labor vagrants in the city.
I have explained it.
Something tells me that Kenny has given his clansmen so much control that he can no longer perform as needed. The decisions taken so far by my government are causing me to shake my head in frustration...first it was sidelining of the two most qualified persons Dr. Long and Dr. Raymond; followed by Dr. Raymond's resignation because Kenny and his clansman did not see fit to utilize his skills as an economist; followed by the assignment of Sonia Johnny who resigned her position during the SLP administration,the assignment of Fletcher and LaCorbiniere in ministries while those who toiled long and hard on Team Labour campaign trail were not considered for jobs or ministries. There are so many other complaints that frustrate St. Lucians especially labour supporters.
Why should the good old Dr.Ubaldus Raymond had to be forced to leave his country and make contributions to an economy that is obviously better than ours? He made it clear on the news that he was neither consulted nor were his skills utilized. Our leaders appear to have a warped sense of what is best for our country.
I am convinced that if the UWP can fix their house (that is, if Frederick is out and king steps down for a better leader whoever that may be) before the next general elections we the SLP would not get a chance into election victory for a very long time. PM, please take note, and start embracing those who toiled long and hard to make you Prime Minister. We are hurting but it seems you and your team are obviously ignoring us. I DON'T LIKE HOW DR.LONG IS BEING TREATED, AND I DON'T LIKE HOW YOU TREATED DR.RAYMOND. Something tells me that issue with Dr. Raymond will remain as a dark cloud over our heads for a very long time. I will truly miss his contributions in Parliament. PM TAKE NOTE!
Kenny, I do not believe that you have the country in mind with that so-called stimulus package. That sounds more like a payback for Debra Tobierre who is developing a huge housing project in Vieux Fort. You first placed her in the Senate making little to no contribution there. I just hope others like her are not on the beneficiary list of developers. I also hope that you do have a cut from this scheme.
How do you expect NICE and STEP workers to benefit from this? That is a joke.

I WONDER IF IT JUST ONE ANTI KENNY JACKASS THAT IS COMMENTING NEGATIVELY ABOUT KENNY AND THE LABOUR PARTY. WHILE I AGREE TO A CERTAIN EXTENT WITH MRS CALDERON, I THINK THE STIMULUS PACKAGE IS BY FAR BETTER THAN WHAT THE UWP LAME DUCKS HAVE EVER DONE IN 5YEAR. TO ALL THE PEOPLE THAT IS OPPOSING JUST TO BE IN IT.SHUT YOU ALL A$%. TAKE A GOOD LOOK AT HOW THIS PACKAGE CAN HELP US DOMESTICALLY. JOB CREATION, MORE PEOPLE CAN GET AN OPPORTUNITY TO OWN THEIR HOME AND A SMALL BOOST IN ECONOMIC ACTIVITY Even if you anti kenny look at the good in this PACKAGE. and just try be optimistic and patriotic.
