The Police Force Image Problem

St. Lucians keep continuing the dirty habit of jumping on the band wagon; because others are jumping on it; without even knowing where the hell the wagon is heading. No thinking for themselves.

Mary Francis has never been known for being rational person. Hence the reason she never made it into political office.

The Police Officers need much more respect and support on the dangerous work they undertake every day; rather than the continual tongue lashing.

Like all other organizations; whether they be insurance companies, hotels, the civil service, the St. Lucia Tourist Board; the WASCO, there are likely to be crooks; emanating from within. And by the way; we know all too well that the banks are not immune to crooks in their organizations. In their case; for safeguarding their image and a loss of confidence in their operations; they keep everything under significant wraps and quiet.

So the police can have a person or persons who are found to be wanting. But does that mean we must continue to disrespect, insult and castigate all Police Officers. Certainly not. The messed up politicians themselves do not set a good lead; in showing respect to the officers,

When forty officers were put through a lie detector test by the American Officials; and out of forty; only one was found wanting.

Does this not speak volumes for the integrity of the average officer in the organization?

We had better learn to appreciate the work of the Police in our midst; and get bloody well real; or else this country will turn into anarchy.

I agree with the sentiments of the blogger above. St. Lucians had better put their priorities right.

Respect the Police Officers for the job they provide to the county. Without national security there is no economic growth, economic advancement or development.
