Time for you to put your pen away Pat Brown.
There are no leaders in Saint Lucia. Only smart-ass politicians. Such ideas Pat are driven by leaders.
That person doing the talking in the SLP is just making the usual noises. There is no convincing plan of action to take it from here to completion, not even conceptually.
Worse yet, the PM just like those gone and those bickering for the job on the other side, does not have the capacity to drive innovation in Saint Lucia. The pattern is for the SLP to actually plan when it has won the election. The manifesto is just a cruel SLP joke on those who ever take it seriously.
You see, they don't teach anything about innovation in any course at UWI. UWI is just another glorified paper-mill, with no relevant vision or mission. It just keeps on churning out regurgitators by the hundreds in each department, year in and year out.
Therefore, don't hold your breath. There so many smart-ass idiots like the one at 3:15 PM who have to die first before Saint Lucia makes any real progress.
Meanwhile, bask in the comfort of knowing that we are the No. 1 tourist destination for honeymooners. Try taking that to the supermarket in exchange for food on the table, or for putting gas in the car.
