For every 230 people in St. Lucia, 1 of them has HIV.

If the Pope bans condoms , then let the Catholic church pay for all the medication these poor Aids & Hiv souls will need

religion can be a very dangerous drug in a society filled with blindly faithful people. Ask yourself why the Pope does not preach this rubbish when he tours Europe. If I am not mistaken there are laws in St. Lucia about broadcasting statements that are dangerous to public order or explicitly doing things that are dangerous to public health and safety. Someone needs to file a civil suit against the churches that are preaching this nonsense to make a point...where is CAFRA!!!. Religion has its place...and it is not in public health...!!!!!!

I hope they find a cure for AIDS. This problem is bigger than belief and religion. God gives us solutions. Thas why he gave us condoms!

what is the alternative? We must face the real world and deal with the substantial issues as it affects individuals, the state and families. Make you pick but be fair minded and consider other choices also.

Othodoxy is an evil to be found in religion. The pope is backwards and not in touch with reality, he will never know the suffering of someone with an STD.

We can take comfort that no matter what the church says, majority of catholics are very pragmatic and do what is in their best interest. Hopefully, most will continue to put their health and well being above any rediculous position, claim or advise.

condoms are not the issue!!!!!
the issue is not having sex with hiv infected people.
contraception has a devastating side effect....population destruction.
In a few years from now the majority of st.lucias will be elderly and where will be the productive workforce to support your elderly population? I suppose you will go begging as usual for funds!
