Good piece.
Why can't Springer use all the master degree he claim he has to advice this incompetent government, with so many semi literate men, how to manage the country, instead of telling the opposition how to oppose. I suppose he love the opposition more than the country. This government need all the advice they can get because they are making a mess with the country. The opposition can take care of themselves.
The opposition can take care of themselves. What a convoluted statement.
Are we talking about the same opposition when in office mismanaged the financial affairs of the country to the tune of millions of dollars? Or are we talking about the opposition which is now in opposition and pretending that St Lucians are not aware of their misdeeds?
YES, i am talking about the same opposition who did so much work in St Lucia in 9 yrs, making us the envy of the caribbean. YES they made mistakes, as All government have done and will do. Please sow me a government who have done mistakes. We ALL Lucians are aware of their mistakes, but we are also aware of their work. With all the misdeeds as you said, they commited they are 100% better than the present incompetent we have now.
I really thought Springer had crawled back under the rock from which he first came. A man who duped SALCC into having him teach politics, until they wise up. Tell him try to get a teaching job when the Taiwanese leave St. Lucia. Since he is their PRO. Yes is our kind of Democracy that have him getting space in a national newspaper. He is our Glen Beck, just without brains
I wonder if I wrote an anti-government article the length of this one, if it ould ever be published in this newspaper.

I understand party support and whether in the UK and the US it is a powerful aspect of politics.
But if we look at the recent Ramsohoyle Report that talks of hundreds of millions of dollars lost in incompetence haw can we talk about " so much done in 9 years " So much what ?
We had $tens of millons spent on a Cricket Stadium used twice a year.
A white elephant stadium incorrectly positioned in Vieux Fort .
A car park costing tens of millions not supported by proper legislation to make it cost effective.
$175 million plus spent on Agriculture yet Agriculture fell by 30% between 1997 -2006.
In other words Kenny cost us $50 million or more every year he was Prime Minister.
The only expenditures that worked was on Victoria Hospital with the A&E Dept and the Bordelais Facility that was urgenty needed.
This is what baffles me. They chide UWP supporters for supporting a bad governmen yet they fail to acknowlege themselves that they are not any better. They support cover ups and incompentence and tell us that Kenny and Co made St Lucia the envy of the caribbean.
Are those people sick or what in their heads. Why is the country filled with so many sick people.
Wrong is wrong and there is no polishing wrong. It's not the colour of a party that makes it a bad or good government, it's the people in it that can mess it up. Leave your colours at the door and stop raping the country.

You call losing millions of dollars a mistake? This did not only happen in Rocasmell? It happen more than once in the period you refer to us St Lucia's best years.
Often its better to remain silent on a subject you can't defend than to make a complete %%%### of yourself.
Make an a.. of yourself and tell me which government that did not make mistakes with the government finances, name ONE please. I will not remind you of past governments of St Lucia, but i will tell you we have a government in st Lucia for nearly 3 yrs. and all they do is to WASTE our money, to name a few, useless inquire, traveling the world everyday, buying a useless building, excess borowing and nobody know what the money is used for, renting a house for King, when we are providing him with a house, paving a good road in Convay, paying ministers for just wasting time, over crowded cabinet of in competent ministers,money disappearing for the ministry of tourism, government staying weeks out of work to resolve disunite among them, causing workers to go on strike because of government stupidity. I can go on and on, this government is a disgrace. ATlease the SLP worked, it is there for all to see.
A white Elephant positioned in VF, what a joke. We the people of the south are not deseving of anything, everything should be in the north, what an insult. Everyday we see these so called uwpeeeees who call everything the SLP built white elephants, sitting in these structure, feeling proud as St Lucian, because all they can or have provided are the Mindoo Philip Park and the Vigie Multi purpose Park. Now the SLP have take us to another level on the international sence all they can do is to criticise. Do not worry we coming back in 2 yrs to continue the development rightly deserve in our beautiful St Lucia, which was stopped by de uwp.

Are you serious, do you really believe St Lucians are so stupid to re-elect that bunch of jokers called uwpeeeeees again? What they have achieved in 3 years?
The person who spoke about curse, i gree with you one 100%. WE are cursed in St Lucia to vote out a government which was working to replace it with one which is INCOMPETENT, and is producing very little work for the country. We came form the envy of the caribbean, to the laughing stock of the world. We are the only country with a PM who is Semi literate, an ex convict, three ministars being arested by police for breaking the law, two ministars stealing from custom, semi literate ministars, a government losing a case in court for trying to steal from the country resourses, NO ROCHEAL can cause this government to remain in power, we do not want to hear the mistakes of the previous over and over again, we have already voted them out for that. What we want to hear is, THIS GOVERNMENT IS DOING BETTER THE PREVIOUS. As far as we can ALL SEE this government is by far worse than the SLP. All the work which the previous government started is either STALLED or is at a crawling pace, so what is the purpose of this government?
