No need to say to much about this. The story is written by Denys Springer and we all know the bias in his writting. Lack of understanding of the norms of house is no excuse for the King administration. Off course we have seen their actions on a number of issues where they do not understand the proper protocol. The sad thing is people are willing to accept their mediocrity. Any action condemning the inappropriate action of the government is seen as not called for.

St. Lucia needs better, if the UWP does not understand the protocols of the office the hold then they should not be there. Shape up or ship out

Come on Denys I am tired of you spewing venom, and you call yourself a christian. HA! HA!

Denny's they claim they not reading your articles. The truth is they can't stop reading them. I like the way you drive them nuts.

LOL

Indeed there was an eruption and it wasn't the volcano.

Springer is not driving anybody nuts, who is Springer anyway? We did not elect Springer, he could write what he want, until his pen run dry. The point is nobody could fool us St Lucians again, we have been fooled enough. Thanks God Kenny provided all of us with a secondary school place, to enlighten our minds. The people who are driving us nuts is the government we elected, they have provided us with three(3) budgets and have not emplimented anything from these budgets. This country is at a standstill, nothing is moving, in every government department there is confussion. That is what we and the government should be concerned about, not worrying about Kenny and what he did, nothing Kenny did could be reversed by the government, we already vote kenny out for his deeds. Kenny as opposition leader should be the one looking into the government, and not the government looking into Kenny. The government should not be wasting the tax payers time, they should be working to improve the country. Time is running out on the government, that same kenny will be back because this government is not ready to work.

St. Lucians will not unfortunately understand the frightening revelations that took place on Tuesday 27th October, 2009 in St. Lucia’s House of Assembly.

An individual who for 9 years subjugated his party and the nation to the most inept level of fiscal mismanagement that one has even seen, with no sense of remorse, chose to obfuscate, dodge and weave like a true snake oil salesman and refused to answer even ONE of the accusations against him with regard to the hundreds of millions he wasted.

Kenny Anthony then went on frighteningly to effectively promise a high level of vindictiveness if he should ever get back into power.

Than an individual could show such a lack of remorse, such bravado in the face of stark evidence of his incompetence is nothing short of evil. Throughout Dr. Anthony’s tenure as Prime Minister we saw politics take on a mean, vindictive and dangerous streak much like you would see in some impoverished third world backwater.

Yesterday we saw that it was this clearly evil man who has poisoned the political environment in our dear country.
Congratulations to Guy Joseph the member for Castries South East who so succinctly exposed Dr. Anthony’s non-answers and the former Minister of Finance’s level of smoke and mirrors.

Kenny will never ever be PM of St.Lucia again, maybe another island but not here.

If Kenny is such a liability to the SLP as the UWP apologists say, then why not they call a snap election and get a fresh new mandate from the people. It is an old trick that evryone can see right through. Kenny Anthony is by the far the ‘tallest standing’ of all active politicians in Saint lucia and i do not mean in height!
While the uwp continues to hit at kenny, he is well on his way to be relected political leader of the SLP before the year ends. But right inside their own camp, the UWP can’t even call a convention. King is using delaying tactics just so he can avoid facing a leadership contest within his own party. The UWP is probably the first political party in the history of the caribbean never to have had a public political meeting this far out after an election. If ever there was a party that DESERVES to lose the next general election then it is the UWP.

If we can accept Dwane Tucker as our Foreign Minister with all his criminal past, then Kenny deserves a second chancebobos/ But I would like to hear Kenny admit his administration made grave errors on Rochamel and on the Soufriere -Vieux-fort Highway. He has to say he has learned his lessons. I want to hear him say I WILL NOT DO IT AGAIN.

You're right, because he said he will do it all over again. Kenny the ball is in your court. Hehehe

This is all I have been waiting for. I just want to hear him say that he was wrong and that he cost the lots of money pain.

What is so difficult about that. I also believe that most St Lucians are forgiving and would move on. If Kenny can't find it in his heart to admit that he was wrong, I don't believe that we want a leader who can't admit wrong.

Kenny has admitted that errors were made. He has said it before. We Lucians just don't listen. We only hear what we want to hear.

Reminds me of George W Bush, can't opologize.

What do you mean we don't listern? The man is full of arrogance. He can't even bring himself to admit without blindfolds that he messed up.

The record shows the Kenny Anthony has never apologised to St Lucians. What I see here coming from him is a lot of grand standing.

Ms. Robertson you are right. This thing could have been over with a long time ago.Kenny Anthony has too much pride to admit he messed up.

He has a superiority complex.

kenny anthony has never admitted his errors. Even now he says there were misjudgements but no mal-administration. Has he apologized for the misjudgements? The answer is a BIG FAT NO! Even now he is blaming Trevor Cozier and Clynt Wellington but accepts no personal blame. A leader who is not prepared to accept he is imperfect can never be a good leader.

Yawn, another waste of space on the Voice. Can't we find someone at least a bit more entertaining than Springer? He's awfully boring and really never says anything new. The Voice really needs to reconsider its column allocations.

Thank you Mr. Springer for enlightening the rest of us. Keep it coming. Great read!
