St Lucia has turned into hollywood everybody is acting from our PM to our policemen all are actors. What kind of government we have in St Lucia today, who believe by just changing around the top three positions of the policeforce will majically ruduce crime in the country? St Lucians we do not need a PM which some bias call a good man, we need one who has prepared himself enought to beably to administer and to put in place sound POLICIES in place, so that our country will progress and be viable in the 21st century and beyond.

This has been the best selection by any government, at least within the past twenty-five years in St. Lucia, in terms of the Police top brass.

Stephenson King will seal his fate as a politician internationally, when he makes the wrong moves, where this Police Force is concerned. Those JACK-ASSES in politics in St. Lucia believe that they can continue to screw-up this country. they will soon get a rude awakening. And I mean both the Kenny, Henny, Penny, King and company. They all are shit-sticks.

I agree with Blogger #2, these politicians never do what is best for the country and the majority of the people of the country. They make it their business only to put their henchmen, in positions, who are not capable of doing any good work in those jobs, and look only to what they can get for themselves and their boot-lickers. The country and people are the last on their minds. Persons like Ausbert D'Auvergne, Petrus Compton, Velon John, Kenny Anthony, Calixte George, Keith Mondesir, Guy Mayers, Stephenson King, John Compton, pushed the Police Force, several years backwards. At least within these last six months, we saw some light in this country, however faint. It is a significant start. All we could see previously, was darkness, darkness and more darkness.

Good job, Mr. Francois, Mr. Charles, Mr. Albert and Ms. Frances Henry. St. Lucia is behind you. Never mind those worthless politicians.

I am happy for the return of the Khaki uniform for Inspectors and Officers. This uniform stands out as a symbol of authority. It attracts the attention of the public and the criminals. It has a physiological effect on the minds of the criminals. The presence of the Officers in the troubled areas and the random searches for guns, ammunition drugs and stolen items should be continuous. Community Policing must be more intense in the community to include visits to schools and homes of young persons. Organizing a Police Youth Sport Club island wide. Re organizing the rank structure to include senior superintendent, superintendent, deputy superintendent, assistant superintendent, Inspectors, station sergeant, sergeant, corporals, lance corporal and Constables this will create greater incentives for the men and should prevent corruption giving them a competitive spirit to wards crime prevention and detection.
