WASCO passing the buck on this one too? If the supplier of a service produces bad product, how come it is not responsible? It is out of their hands?

What a nasty attitude that is!

If the quarry is the problem, then the Ministry of Health will have to have an injunction to have the operations of the quarry shut down.

Why must the Government be party to the destruction of the health of the certain part of the population while it allows a business to make profit at the expense of the basic health of the people.

This is rather awkward to say the least,

I guess WASCO could have brought Anse la Raye's water problem to the Ministries [Health and Planning] concerned. The highlight is - they did ALL they could, by identifying the problem. Kudos to them for that.

At least WASCO got to the source of the problem, and did vent about it, maybe in a not so bright fashion. Now, it is up to the Ministries to be responsible for thrashing out the problem. IF ... the quarry is at fault. Proper investigations have
to be carried out, and I am positive WASCO will [they HAVE to] assist.

To the "Armchair Anonymous" - before you go casting stones, THINK of the situation, by first LIFTING the stones, carefully. Hold on to your horses as well, before you send them off galloping.

And please, STOP politicising what Mother Nature cast upon us. I hope "Armchair Anonymous" gave assistance in some fashion to the plight of the unfortunates.

i think WASCO is doing all that they can especially with their limited resources and finance. now, it is up to the ministry of planning to do their job.
