If my memory serves me right, and can someone in the Government produce written evidence to the contrary, under Kenny Anthony's adminstration, as was for JOHN COMPTON, ninety-nine year leases for the Queen's Chain were granted. Isn't that so? If I remember correctly for the SANDALS HOTELS, for the JALOUSIE as well. It looks like KING's adminstration is following suit. Can someone in Cabinet tell us from the Cabinet Conclusions and or the Register for leases of the Queen's Chain whether I remember right? THANK YOU VERY MUCH.

Sorry, and I should have mentioned good information, Mr.Boswell Williams notwithstanding I recall you once wanted or did buy land near the Sulphur Springs around the time you were Governor General, which were CROWN LANDS, and there quite a stir on this principally from John Compton who was then Leader of the Opposition. Or was Compton as usual telling lies. That is what I recall as a young man then in my teens.

Boswell William's article is educative, well informed and will prevent any future government taking liberties with St.Lucians. In regards to his land onership and the Sulphur Springs. The incident is well document in one of rick Wayne's earlier books. A young Boswell was sent to London (in his capacity as a civil servant)to pay for the Sulpher Springs lands with money granted by the British government. Instead of putting the land in the name of the Government, he inserted his name instead.
Then years later when John Compton invited a Canadian firm to visit with the view of exploring thermal engergy possibilities, Boswell threw them off the land claiming it belonged to him. Compton and the rest of the nation found out the hard way of Mr.Boswell's earlier actions.
Yes its all in Mr. Wayne's earlier book.

Good for him if he inserted his name in the lease/purchase documents. I would rather have a Lucian controlling the lands than foreigners...

Blogger No. 5 thank you very much for that elucidation. I am very grateful. One observation. KENNY ANTHONY is supposed to be some expert? in Constitutional Law. But guess what? His brown SNOUT is SHUT on that one. I really believe he was the Government Administration which started the so-called granting of NINETY-NINE year Leases of the Queen's Chain. And now the rest of the JACK-ASSES are following suit. Kenny Anthony will definitely lead the St. Lucia Labour Party down another DEFEAT come the next General Elections. He has no credibility, no integrity. We can't trust such a man. And what about that suitcase with money he was coming from Guyana with, that got lost in Trinidad & Tobago. Film at 11. To be honest, as worthless as the Stephen King Administration is, if I had to be forced to stick a vote, and there were no independent candidates, I would vote KING instead of Kenny. He did worst than John Compton.
