You guys always come out with these vague statements "...welcomes Caribbean Airlines' new flight plans." WHAT FLIGHT PLANS? Mr Chastnet, there is nothing in your press release that corresponds to this headline. Why don't you want us 'dummies' to know anything specific? Don't you realize how suspicious and fake this looks?
This is pitiful for the UWP, because come election time, very few voters will still trust a word you say and fewer of them will vote for you.

UWP, CLEAN UP YOUR ACT RIGHT AWAY, because you're running out of time; the people are not as stupid and unendingly patient as you think! Empty promises cannot ALWAYS and FOREVER fool people.

And today, King presented his new 'Fast Track' NRDU plan for the island's development: three or four paragraphs of vacuous words and promises. Who writes his press statements? That person needs to be dumped. He helps make the PM look worse than he is. I have no ax to grind: I support neither the UWP, SLP, nor the LPM.
My support is for St Lucia.

Allan is divider of the race, not even n South Africa can blacks be seperated on the beach, but in St.Lucia this is common practics.

Allan is JUDAS ---choosing to sell the queens chain with his accolytes, the AG, the x-con, and the x-don for 30pieces of silver.

Allan has no credibility, integrity and honesty.

These a 3 principles of business and professional life.

Soufriere will be the final nail in your coffin.

Happy Independence.

Not one of the character assassins who have commented on this article, have tried to honestly and objectively balance the pros and cons of the tenure of Allan Chastanet. Instead they have done what historical commentators have said that we in St. Lucia are infamous for in our “Fair Helen” , which is to be as vicious and vindictive as possible to anyone whom we disagree with.

I have read articles from as far back as the mid-19th century and the general opinion is that there is no more aggressive a people willing to castigate their fellow man in the Caribbean than we in St. Lucia.

Maypuis, roro, slander is our middle name.

We are seeing that right here with the racial and class warfare comments about Allan at every turn.

In spite of the fact that under hugely adverse conditions we now have a tourism industry the envy of other Caribbean countries is of no concern to these rabid St. Lucians. All they are concerned is with their racial hatred, their mediocrity and to get their political party into power to start to rape the national treasury.

I say this as someone who has seen the UWP being destroyed by the buffoons that they have in some Ministries but can objectively look at the positive results in our country today.

The persons making these unsavory comments are probably the very lazy , ill-disciplined ones who feel that the tourists appear over the horizon by magic for them to hustle for a monee!

They are the ones who hang out at bars complaining or with shirt out of pants and poor hygiene wait to try and take the money from the pocket of those who with discipline and a structured plan work out how to make the tourism industry work for them.

Thousands of tourists visit our shores every week and instead of working out how to make ourselves as attractive as possible to make them spend more money here we are waiting for “de government” to make money magically appear on the road.

This same kind of welfare and mendicancy attitude that George Odlum spoke of will be the death of us along with the viciousness with which we practice our relationship with our brothers.

Alan, man does not live by bread alone.

We are not subjects living in the parish of Soufriere.

Tuxedo Villas tax evasion case. American Airlines $5M. Why can't the "Poster Boy" of the economic class realize that we are not full by his vague comments.

The suggestion that the current cabinet have adopted the Wycliffe mode of dealing with the PM is slightly off the mark. Where Wycliffe jumped over King. The Cabinet jump on our poor PM.
Anyway the bus underwhich they plan to push him is already parked up its called the Chasnet mobil. Have no doubt if this happens it will be a sad day for Lucians, especially the poor.

Soufriere ARE NO FOOLS...we have lived through the plantation slavery and wars.

We are tooled and ready for the battle...Not in this yard will your asperation be realized,,,you will be smoked out in time.

The job of government is foremost, to be a” prudent warden” of the tax payers money.
